The Sunflower Silhouette is a fall design that brings a fresh, garden-inspired warmth to the season. Its rich green body, hand-crafted sunflower inlay, and warm glowing light make it a standout piece for any harvest display, bookshelf, or fall vignette.
How it's made
What makes the Sunflower Silhouette distinctive is its inlay construction. Our crafters hand-cut the sunflower shape from the gourd, dye it in warm yellow and walnut brown tones, and reinsert it seamlessly into the green body; creating a crisp, dimensional contrast between the richly colored sunflower and the deep green surrounding it. When the piece is lit from within, the sunflower design glows warmly through the surface.
The body of the gourd is hand-dyed a rich green. A hole is cut into the back of the gourd that allows an electric light cord to be utilized, allowing for a luminary design to be achieved. The design rests on a flat wooden base.

Warning: Gourds are flammable. Do not use candles in them or place near open flames.
Care Information
- Display your gourd where it isn't exposed to excessive moisture and avoid long periods of direct sunlight.
- When storing your gourd, choose a cool, dark, and dry environment.
- To clean your gourds, wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.
- Light your gourd with electric lights (7 watt max) or battery-operated lights only. Never place a lit candle in a gourd because gourds are flammable.
Shipping
Most orders leave our warehouse within 2-5 business days. Orders that are placed on weekends will not ship until at least the next business day. We ship with USPS, UPS, and FedEx and delivery can be expected within 1 to 14 business days from when the order leaves our farm. Tracking information will be emailed to you once your order is shipped.
