This 6" - 7" dried hard shell gourd birdhouse comes with the exterior cleaned and ready for crafting. A sturdy metal wire hanger has been attached and a 1.25" hole has been drilled in the front. The shapes and sizes of our birdhouses vary significantly but primarily come from Martin, Bottle, Kettle, and Goose varieties of hard shell gourds..

Clean and ready to craft hard-shell gourds that are great for painting, woodburning, and cutting. Dried, hard-shell gourds cure to a wood texture, giving them a durable canvas shell that can be carved, sanded, drilled, or burned. Hard-shell gourds accept acrylic paints, wood stains, leather dyes, and inks for a lasting finish. Our dried gourds are available in a range of shapes and sizes, allowing creations for birdhouses, bowls, painted décor, or your next handmade creation. Since each gourd is a natural product, exact shapes and sizes will vary but will stay true to the variety within the product images. Our gourds are grown, prepared, and shipped from our 200-acre farm in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
Bulk Orders:
Please note that we accept bulk orders of our cleaned, unfinished hard-shell gourds. Larger orders (75 or more of the same gourd SKU) may take up to 4 weeks to ship due to washing and cleaning processes. If you require your gourd order by a specific time, please contact our team to request this.
Warning: Gourds are flammable. Do not use candles in them or place near open flames.
Shipping
Most orders leave our warehouse within 2-5 business days. Orders that are placed on weekends will not ship until at least the next business day. We ship with USPS, UPS, and FedEx and delivery can be expected within 1 to 14 business days from when the order leaves our farm. Tracking information will be emailed to you once your order is shipped.
