Meet Aspen, a handcrafted winter polar bear gourd luminary with a clean white finish, a glowing evergreen tree and star cutout, and a beautifully detailed egg gourd muzzle that give her a warmly expressive bear character unlike anything else in our winter collection. Her warm glowing light and charming details make her a natural addition to any holiday mantel, shelf, or woodland-inspired display.
How it's made
Aspen is crafted from a hard-shell gourd grown right here on our farm and is painted white. An evergreen tree with a star is hand-cut into the belly, allowing warm light to glow beautifully through when the piece is lit. Her muzzle is crafted from a separate egg-shaped gourd attached by hand, and wood-burnt details are applied to give it bear character. A black nose with a painted white fleck is applied by hand, and hand-painted eyes complete her expressive polar bear face. Two polar bear ears are attached by hand, and a colorful winter scarf is tied around her neck to complete her cozy winter look.
Aspen rests on a flat base, and a hole is cut into the back of the gourd that allows an electric light cord to be utilized, allowing for a luminary design to be achieved.

Care Information
- Display your gourd where it isn't exposed to excessive moisture and avoid long periods of direct sunlight.
- When storing your gourd, choose a cool, dark, and dry environment.
- To clean your gourds, wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.
- Light your gourd with electric lights (7 watt max) or battery-operated lights only. Never place a lit candle in a gourd because gourds are flammable.
Shipping
Most orders leave our warehouse within 2-5 business days. Orders that are placed on weekends will not ship until at least the next business day. We ship with USPS, UPS, and FedEx and delivery can be expected within 1 to 14 business days from when the order leaves our farm. Tracking information will be emailed to you once your order is shipped.
