These Bottle (also known as Calabash) gourds are thoroughly cleaned and ready for crafting or decorating. 

About this gourd:

  • Size: This gourd is approximately 3-4 inches in diameter and 4-5 inches tall, with a distinctive tapered neck.

  • Sitting: Bottles have bottoms that sit - sometimes sanding is required. 

  • Natural Gourd: Because this is a natural product exact sizes and shapes will vary but stay true to the Bottle variety pictured.

  • Versatile Crafting: The shell of our dried gourds are suitable for wood burning, cutting, painting, and other creative techniques.

  • Ready to Decorate: Our gourd shells are cleaned and ready to use. Apply a polyurethane or polycrylic coating for a glossy finish.

  • Grown in the USA: Grown and harvested on our family farm in Pennsylvania, these gourds are known for their durability and quality.

Warning: Gourds are flammable.  Do not use candles in them or place near open flames. 
Care Information
  • Display your gourd where it isn't exposed to excessive moisture and avoid long periods of direct sunlight.
  • When storing your gourd, choose a cool, dark, and dry environment.
  • To clean your gourds, wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Light your gourd with electric lights (7 watt max) or battery-operated lights only. Never place a lit candle in a gourd because gourds are flammable.
Shipping

Most orders leave our warehouse within 2-5 business days. Orders that are placed on weekends will not ship until at least the next business day. We ship with USPS, UPS, and FedEx and delivery can be expected within 1 to 14 business days from when the order leaves our farm. Tracking information will be emailed to you once your order is shipped.
