This Apple variety, dried, hard shell gourd comes with the exterior cleaned and ready for crafting. This gourd will come between 5" and 7" in diameter.
Since this is a natural product, exact shapes and sizes will vary but will stay true to the Apple variety in the product image.
- Shell Quality is suitable for cutting, wood-burning, painting and other craft ideas
- Between 5" and 7" in diameter.
- Similar to working with wood and can be painted with acrylic, latex, or oil paints, or dyed with wood or leather dyes.
- Grown, prepared and shipped from Pennsylvania
Warning: Gourds are flammable. Do not use candles in them or place near open flames.
- Display your gourd where it isn't exposed to excessive moisture and avoid long periods of direct sunlight.
- When storing your gourd, choose a cool, dark, and dry environment.
- To clean your gourds, wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.
- Light your gourd with electric lights (7 watt max) or battery-operated lights only. Never place a lit candle in a gourd because gourds are flammable.
Most orders leave our warehouse within 2-5 business days. Orders that are placed on weekends will not ship until at least the next business day. We ship both UPS & USPS and delivery can be expected within 1 to 14 business days from when the order leaves our farm. Tracking information will be emailed to you once your order is shipped.
