This 8" Martin variety, dried, hard shell gourd come with the exterior cleaned and ready for crafting. Approximately between 8-9" in diameter.
The shape of Martin gourds resemble teardrops or pears.
They sit upright but may require some sanding on the bottom to sit perfectly straight.
They are known for their nice hard shell, making them the top choice for crafting.
- Shell Quality is suitable for cutting, wood-burning, painting and other craft ideas
- Between 8" and 9" in diameter.
- Similar to working with wood and can be painted with acrylic, latex, or oil paints, or dyed with wood or leather dyes.
- Grown, prepared and shipped from Pennsylvania
Warning: Gourds are flammable. Do not use candles in them or place near open flames.
- Display your gourd where it isn't exposed to excessive moisture and avoid long periods of direct sunlight.
- When storing your gourd, choose a cool, dark, and dry environment.
- To clean your gourds, wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.
- Light your gourd with electric lights (7 watt max) or battery-operated lights only. Never place a lit candle in a gourd because gourds are flammable.
