The Maple Leaf Silhouette brings the beauty of the season's most iconic leaf to life through one of our most detailed inlay techniques. Its rich walnut brown body, hand-cut orange maple leaf inlay, and warm glowing light make it a nature-inspired fall accent.

How it's made
What makes the Maple Leaf Silhouette distinctive is its inlay construction. Our crafters hand-cut the maple leaf shape from the gourd and dye each piece of the leaf individually; the stem a rich brown and the leaf a warm orange, before applying wood-burnt detailing by hand across the leaf surface to give it a rich, natural texture. The finished inlay is then reinserted seamlessly into the walnut brown body, creating a crisp, dimensional contrast that glows beautifully when the piece is lit from within. The body of the gourd is hand-dyed a rich walnut brown. A hole is cut into the bottom of the gourd that allows an electric corded light base to be placed inside, allowing for a luminary design to be achieved.
