How it works
Join us for our Create Your Own event where you can work with our experts to create your own gourd design! Choose between a variety of gourd design projects, and make your own masterpiece! No artistic experience is needed. Our team will help guide you through the process of making your own projects where you can paint, dye, assemble, and accessorize. You can complete as many projects as you would like within your workshop time.

Littles Projects - $9
The Little Projects that you can choose from this year will already be colored. You will be able to mix and match different heads and different style bodies to make your own bear, angel or snowman. The bodies that will be available to choose from are stars, candle, snowflake and trees.
Small Projects - $19.25
If you choose to do the Small Project, the options available are a penguin, owl, reindeer, snowman, bear, gingerbread man or an angel. You will be able to mix and match 6 different heads (reindeer, bear, gingerbread man, angel, snowman and winking snowman) with 4 different bodies (tree, snowflake, house, and nativity scene). The Penguin, Gnome and Owl are made from one gourd. These gourds can be lit with a battery-operated tea light for an additional charge ($1.00) or a new electric option for an additional charge ($5.00).
Medium Projects - $27.50
The Medium Projects this year include a gingerbread man, snowmen, bears, angels, santa pants bowl and reindeer. The medium gourd heads that you can mix and match include the reindeer, angel, bear, gingerbread man and snowman. The medium gourd bodies that you can choose from are a snowflake, tree/snowflakes, Christmas tree, nativity scene and mittens. The Medium Projects can be lit with an electric light for an additional charge ($5.00).
Small Elf with Arms and Legs - $27.50
This adorable elf is new this year for create your own. Can be lit by purchasing a battery-operated tea light for an additional $1.00
Small Santa - $19.25
New! this santa has new wire glasses and can be lit by purchasing a battery operated tea light for an additonal $1.00.
Large Projects - $43.50
The Large Projects that you can make include an angel, snowman, Santa, bear and campfire gourd. The Campfire gourd Santa and Santa Pants Candy Dish gourd are made from one gourd. New this year we have a tall santa. The heads that you can mix and match include an angel, bear and snowman. The bodies designs that you can choose from are a snowflake and tree. These pieces can be lit with an electric light for an additional charge ($5.00).
Winter Cottage - $43.50
New! You can make this beatiful winter cottage. This design can be lit with an electric light for an additional charge ($5.00).

Registration information
Please read all of these instructions before registering, class times have changed:
Many designs to choose from this year!! All ages and levels of artistic skill are welcome. Bring friends and family for a fun day of creativity. You will have various Winter gourd designs to choose from. You add your artistic (or not so artistic) touches with the help of our skilled crafters to make a unique gourd that is all your own. We have several days and a variety of times to choose from.
Pre-registration is required:
There will be a $10.00 registration fee (plus processing fees) per person which will be applied to the gourds you craft during the workshop. Full refunds will be given if notified by 4:00 pm on Wednesday, November 26th for anyone who is signed up for the December 6th & 7th classes. Anyone who is signed up for the December 13th & 14th classes will have until Thursday, December 4th at 4:00pm to cancel. If you need to cancel after your deadline, please let me know, I normally have a wait list and if I am able to fill your spots, you will receive a full refund, but this is contingent that I am able to fill them. Please call Dori at 717-776-6029 Monday-Friday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm if you need to cancel. No shows will forfeit the $10.00 registration fee and will not be able to be used by others in the party.
If you are ordering for a group:
and would like to sit together, please only place one order under one name. Please click on the block in green to copy this information to all ticket holders. Please DO NOT give me individual names. Example: If you are ordering 4 tickets - put them all under your name, this way all the tickets will be grouped together. This will eliminate you being disappointed when you get here, and we were not aware that there were several groups under different names that wanted to sit together.
Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email that will have tickets attached. Please print out tickets and bring along or be able to bring up on your phone the day of the event to receive your refund when you checkout.
NEW Refunds:
Please note that service charges for the tickets are non-refundable. If you need to cancel you will be refunded the cost of the ticket only ($10.00/ticket). If you need to move to another day, please call Dori and she will be able to move your entire party to the date and time works better for you.
Details:
We will be holding multiple workshops on each day of the Winter Create Your Own.
Classes on Saturday and Sunday will be held inside at 9:00am, 11:30am and 2:00pm in the back room and 9:30am, 12:00pm and 2:30 in the front room. Each class will be 2 hours long.
