This design is part of our Vintage Series. To celebrate 30 years in business, we are re-releasing old favorite designs from the last 30 years as Limited Releases.
Our Maple Leaf Silhouette is walnut and burnt orange in color. This piece is beautifully hand crafted and would look great left out for the whole fall season.
Before this gourd, the Maple Leaf, was released in 2010, this design was part of an auction that was held at our farm in 2009 to benefit a local charity. The Maple Leaf was designed by Shawn Trostle, one of the five original members here at Meadowbrooke, who started working for Ben Bear, founder of Meadowbrooke, when he was only 13 years old.
The Maple Leaf went on for many years coming out in different sizes and gourd shapes and finally retired in 2018 after eight years. Shawn passed away in 2019 and is dearly missed but he would have been proud to know one of his products made it into the 30-year Vintage Collection.
- Approximately 5 1/2" in diameter and 9 1/2" tall.
- Because this design is crafted using a natural gourd, each piece is ever so slightly different to make for a unique artisan piece with natural variance in color and size.
Warning: Gourds are flammable. Do not use candles in them or place near open flames.
- Display your gourd where it isn't exposed to excessive moisture and avoid long periods of direct sunlight.
- When storing your gourd, choose a cool, dark, and dry environment.
- To clean your gourds, wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.
- Light your gourd with electric lights (7 watt max) or battery-operated lights only. Never place a lit candle in a gourd because gourds are flammable.
Most orders leave our warehouse within 2-5 business days. Orders that are placed on weekends will not ship until at least the next business day. We ship both UPS & USPS and delivery can be expected within 1 to 14 business days from when the order leaves our farm. Tracking information will be emailed to you once your order is shipped.
