Black Friday Sale and Information
We are less than two weeks away from our Black Friday Sale in our retail store and I wanted to go over a few things with you, so you know what to expect when you come on November 27th. Our main goal since we have opened in May is to make sure everyone who decides to shop at Meadowbrooke feels safe and comfortable. Most of these are things we all have been dealing with since Covid hit and should not be a big surprise.
Sale Information
Ok, first let's review what is on sale. EVERYTHING in our entire store is 25% OFF. Yes, everything! This sale happens only once a year and includes everything from our finished gourds to raw gourds to kits and parts. Food items, florals, candles, soap, lotions, pictures, paints, dyes and tools are also included. Most of our local artist are also contributing to the sale so this is a wonderful time to get all your shopping completed in one place at a great discount.
We will be open on Black Friday from 10am-5pm. You will enter at the door on the front porch, but the exit will be through the dried gourd area and out the front door in the middle of the building. This will help control congestion at the main entrance.
Store is Stocked
We have been working very hard to have the store decorated, stocked and ready for the holiday season. There are lots of new items and winter gourd designs that are currently in the store. Due to being shut down for nine weeks earlier this year due to Covid, we do have the potential of selling out of some of our gourds so please buy early to avoid disappointment. We all have that person on our list that is hard to buy for or that has everything. Gourds make a unique gift with a great story. This is the perfect time to come and browse through the store to buy such a gift.
Masks and Social Distancing
We are requiring everyone who enters our store to wear a mask. If you are not able to wear a mask, we ask that you consider calling the store to place your order. You will be able to pick up at the store once your order has been pulled and a time is scheduled. To place an order for store pickup, please call 717-776-6029. Please leave your name and number if you get the store’s voicemail as we expect it to be a busy day. We will honor our sale for calls received between 10:00am and 5:00pm. We also will be enforcing social distancing. Please be considerate and respectful while shopping and especially while standing in line to pay.
Sanitizing and Cleaning
You will see us cleaning the counter tops, scanners and registers between customers. Please be patient as this does take a minute a two. Our main goal is to get you through the register area as quickly and painless as possible. We will also be cleaning off surfaces and places that are touched frequently by customer throughout the day such as carts, baskets, doorknobs, etc.
We are looking forward to seeing all of you and helping you pick that perfect gift for that special someone. For those of you that live too far away to come to our store, make sure to mark your calendars for our Cyber Monday sale runs from November 27-December 1.
