A New Year – 2026

We are now a few days into the new year which promises to be filled with happiness, love, prosperity and most of all memories, but we would be remised if we didn’t look back at 2025, our 30th anniversary year, and thank each and everyone of you for your patronage, loyalty and friendship.

In 2025, we met new friends, reconnected with old friends and have now seen some of the “kids” that came with their parents to do crafts and visit our events become parents to the next generation and those original parents become grandparents.   We have seen friends and family meet at the farm for a day out or occasionally meet up by accident. For the first time this year, we had two “pop-up” weddings in our wildflowers in the spring and countless proposals in our sunflowers in the fall.  Our farm has become as special to our “guests” as it is to us and we love this!

As we enter our 31st year, we are excited and refreshed after a very busy holiday season. We have already retired about 30% of our gourds to be able to bring out new and exciting designs which will be introduced throughout the new year as our awesome production crew begins to craft them.  This job of retiring gourds is not one we take lightly.  There are about five of us representing different parts of the business that meet with catalogs, lots of sales information, and trend ideas that we see happening in the market. We go through each season analyzing best sellers and designs that are losing a bit momentum.  We also must look at all the new designs that have been submitted by employees and our design team to see what we believe may be the next best sellers. Do we always agree with each other, heck no, but we do listen to everyone’s point of view and make the best educated decision we can.  Sometimes we are wrong and sometimes we knock it out of the park.  We can’t wait to share them all with you!

We have also picked our event dates for 2026 which I have listed below so you can start to mark your calendars.  We may also throw some new ones in there and will keep you updated with anything that comes along.
