We had a full house of happy crafters at our Spring Create Your Own gourd event again this season. There are so many things I want to thank our customers for that I’m not sure where to begin.
I would like to thank the sweet blind lady that thought I looked like Robert Redford (that was a first for me) and the lady that thought I looked like Mike Rowe on my video (my wife wishes it were true). Also, all the customers that Kenny tricked into putting down on the suggestion cards that he was so awesome. I hear you, I hear you. Those of us who work with him every day just don’t get how he tricked so many people.
A little more seriously, I want to thank each of our many customers who shared their laughter and excitement with us as they crafted their own gourds. We spend many weeks doing our part to have everything prepped, ready and organized for these events. But the excitement and fun all of you bring is the most important ingredient in making these events so successful.
Thank you to the many repeat customers that helped teach their first-time friends and family how our system works. You make our coaches and teachers jobs so much easier and smoother. I am always amazed to see these new people start so concerned they can’t do it and then later seeing their happy faces as they gush over how nice their gourds turned out. We couldn’t do it without your help. Thank you to all our customers that make us feel so good when you stop by and thank us on your way out. You really help us forget that most of us worked fourteen days in a row. We also really appreciate all of you who took the time to send us a kind thank you note. We read and treasure each of them.
Last, I want to thank everyone who made suggestions on what products you would like to see for next years Spring Create Your Own. We heard chickens, dogs, cats, turtles and bunny baskets that lay down like our Ashley bunny. We also heard baby bunnies, chicks, ducks and birds. Our intentions at this time are to have a few less Easter products as we introduce more of your suggestions for all season. Right now we all need a little nap and some playtime. Then we will start making plans for our Summer Celebration.
